By shortening the hosel and boring the shaft tip entirely through to the sole plate, engineers stripped away dead weight from the heel area. This mass was redirected completely out into the low perimeter edges of the cavity frame, dramatically raising the club’s Moment of Inertia ($MOI$) to eliminate face twisting on off-center strikes.

Working in tandem with the perimeter pocket is Callaway's breakthrough Variable Face Thickness (VFT) architecture.
